I know it's a bit late seeing at the festival was yesterday, but it was in NME issue dated 5/July/08 page 66...

If you can't read it it says:
Best Party
Mighty Boosh/Hop Farm Fests
Watch Gary Numan, The Kills and Peaches get out rock 'n' rolled by the psychodelic shenanigans of The Mighty Boosh Band, on Saturday, then hop into Sunday with Neil Young, Primal Scream and Laura Marling.
Where: Kent Hop Farm (Sat,Sun)
www.nme.com/festivals

X-posted to many other booshy places...

The Road Trip of Your Life

You see life as a journey to be shared with others. Kinship and sharing are very important to you.

Your life is quite hectic. You try to slow down when you can, but it's not easy!

You're willing to take a few risks in life. You may not take the road no one travels, but you're happy to take the road less traveled.

You are able to find a fairly healthy balance between work and play. You work when you need to, but you never let yourself burn out.

In another life, you could have been a great artist. You trust your creative instincts enough to let them lead you.

Spoil this and I'll find you and kill you So I'm in Leeds, sitting in the foyer of the Radisson Hotel, where they have an internet terminal which guests (like myself) can use for free.  Finding this terminal gave me a glimmer of hope, one that has now been dashed as it turns out that this computer is way too old and shonky to handle BBC iPlayer (took two or three goes to log onto this blog, which should give you and idea how old and shonky).

07:11 pm - this pleases me
Mostly finished the list, and two days still to go!

balance the checkbook
hook the digital converter box up to the TV, see if any more channels have popped up
vacuum, scrape, scour
light proofreading
quantity cooking for next week

Naturally, after I cleaned the house from top to bottom last night, I woke up this morning to find that the bananas I left on the counter had exploded and oozed all over the place. I know it's hot, but fruit-explodingly hot? Now it's even hotter, and the air conditioner is acting in a peculiarly uncool fashion.

Spent most of the day in a most unpatriotic pursuit: watching Doctor Who and trying to warm to the first Doctor. Ian and Barbara I like. Susan I can take or leave, but I'm not sure I'll ever have more than a grudging respect for the Doctor who started it all. The constant "Hmm?"-ing reminds me of a boss I had who used it as a cover for never listening rather than eliciting opinions. I did watch the Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead episodes of the current season (out of professional curiosity, of course), but didn't feel anything more for them than 'meh.' I haven't missed the ritual of tuning in to the rest, and have spent my time catching up with the many previous seasons on Netflix. Because the PBS station I grew up with stopped showing anything past the Fifth Doctor, let me know if you have any Sixth or Seventh Doctor favorites that shouldn't be missed.
